I. Definitions

Website – the website operating at https://kcmrm.pl, https://kcmrm.com.pl.
External Website – websites of the Administrator’s partners, service providers, or service recipients.
Administrator – the Director of the Polish Air Ambulance Service, based in Warsaw, ul. Księżycowa 5, 01-934 Warsaw, providing services electronically via the Website and storing and accessing information on User devices.
User – the natural person for whom the Administrator provides services electronically via the Website.
Device – an electronic device with software through which the User accesses the Website.
Cookies – small files saved and stored on your computer, tablet, or smartphone while you visit various websites on the Internet. A cookie typically contains the name of the website it comes from, the cookie’s “lifespan” (i.e., its lifetime), and a randomly generated unique number used to identify the browser used to connect to the website.

II. Types of Cookies

Internal Cookies – files placed and read from the User’s Device by the Website’s IT system.
External Cookies – files placed and read from the User’s Device by the IT systems of external Services.
Session Cookies – files placed and read from the User’s Device by the Website or external Services during a single session of a given Device. After the session ends, the files are deleted from the User’s Device.
Persistent Cookies – files placed and read from the User’s Device by the Website or external Services until they are manually deleted. These files are not deleted automatically after the Device session ends, unless the User’s Device is configured to delete cookies after the Device session ends.

III. Cookie Processing Security

Storage and Reading Mechanisms – Cookie storage and reading mechanisms do not allow the downloading of any personal data or any confidential information from the User’s Device. It is practically impossible to transfer viruses, Trojan horses, or other worms to the User’s Device.
Internal Cookies – Internal Cookies used by the Administrator are safe for User Devices.
External Cookies – the Administrator is not responsible for the security of cookies from the Website’s partners.

IV. Information on the Use of Cookies on the KCMRM Website

When providing website content, the National Emergency Medical Services Monitoring Center, a unit of the Warsaw Medical Air Rescue Service, uses cookies. The information regarding cookies indicated in this document applies to the technologies used within our website. Cookies are used to adapt the content of the website to the User’s preferences and to optimize the use of the websites. In particular, these files allow the recognition of the Website User’s Device and the appropriate display of the website, tailored to their individual needs. They are also used to create statistics that help understand how website users use websites, which allows for the improvement of their structure and content, and maintaining the website user’s session (after logging in).
