What is the KCMRM?

In connection with the enactment on April 13, 2018 of the Law on Amendments to the Law on
State Medical Rescue Service and certain other laws (Journal of Laws of 2018
2018, item 1115), the Air Ambulance Service in accordance with the provisions of Article 27a (1)
being a unit supervised by the minister responsible for health matters
created within the structure of the Air Ambulance Service an organizational unit
named: "National Emergency Medical Service Monitoring Center".

Tasks of the KCMRM

KCMRM currently performs tasks in the maintenance of the Support System for
Command of the State Emergency Medical Service (SWD PRM), i.e.:
a. administration
b. development
c. modification
d. development

Modern technologies

KCMRM prepares descriptions of the subject matter of the contract (OPZ)

and specifications of essential terms of the contract (ToR)
contract terms and conditions (ToR) for public procurement proceedings
for the purchase of equipment for the operation of the SWD PRM, and also participates in the aforementioned
proceedings. We provide equipment for:
- Medical Rescue Teams
- Medical dispatching centers
- Provincial Medical Rescue Coordinators
- Administrators and Coordinators

Training and Monitoring Center

KCMRM operates an Emergency Medical Services Training Center and a Center for
Emergency Medical Services Monitoring Center staffed by experienced medics
practicing as Medical Rescue Team Leaders and Dispatchers.

As of January 1, 2024, the Medical Rescue Training Center is responsible for
conducting training courses for Medical Dispatchers, Provincial Coordinators of
Emergency Medical Services and candidates for these positions.

On May 25, 2023, a meeting called “1st Forum of SWD PRM Administrators” was held in Warsaw. During the meeting, the invited participants, representatives of all Provincial Offices, were able to familiarize themselves with the current structure of the National Center for Monitoring of Medical Rescue (KCMRM), tasks and achievements
