Who are we?

National Emergency Medical Services Monitoring Center

The National Emergency Medical Services Monitoring Center (KCMRM) is an organizational unit of the Polish Air Ambulance Service (PMOS) established under the Act on State Emergency Medical Services.

The KCMRM is responsible for the IT system known as the State Emergency Medical Services Command Support System (SWD PRM), which provides citizens with access to the 999 emergency number and supports the work of dispatchers and paramedics. The PRM SWD enables, among other things, receiving emergency calls, dispatching emergency medical teams, locating ambulances, and maintaining medical records.

The KCMRM team continuously monitors the system infrastructure 24/7/365 and provides technical support to PMOS users. It develops, maintains, and modifies all applications operating within the system. It provides the ability to make calls to the 999 emergency number and integrates the communication resources used by the State Emergency Medical Services. It is responsible for the media enabling the verification of ambulance locations and the transfer of data to and from applications used on tablets in ambulances.

The National Medical Center conducts training for medical dispatchers and provincial emergency medical coordinators and monitors the progress of medical operations, particularly those involving a large number of injured people.
